My name is Javier Samudio, I’m a award winning graphic designer founder of Javier.LA, this is a design studio highly focused on creating effective and awesome solutions for my clients, I have had the opportunity to work with great brands such as Ed Hardy, FOX, DirecTV, Foreseeson, just to name a few.

In  2005, I moved from Bogota, Colombia to Los Angeles with my wife and Merlin (my dog), my 15 years experiences range from designing, brochures, advertisements, product packaging, catalogs, logos to more complex projects, such as web pages and marketing strategies. I understand the importance of knowing the long-term vision of a company and how to accurately and consistently reflect and strengthen that message in all visual and written communications.

 

Technical Skills

Since I’m graphic designer, I have to work with the best software, which is why I use Adobe CS5

My studio

Based in Los Angeles, working as a freelancer, I strive to give my clients the most superior and cost efficient solutions in this vastly competitive market. I specialized in areas such as web design, logo design, corporate identity design, branding and print design.

My studio featuring Mac Pro G5, 1 LCD Cinema display, and a MacBook Pro 17 that I use to work on my customer’s location or agencies that hire me for independent projects.

Additionally I have couple printers and a 17″ Compaq laptop with Windows 98 installed, this is the perfect tool to test any website I’m creating, it’s slow, the operative system is old, small screen, but if the website I’m creating runs on this machine, that means it runs on any computer on the earth.
